Thirthahalli, Hosanagar, Sagar, Bhadravathi received good spell of rain throughout the day. <br /><br /></p>.<p>The rain that started around 12 noon in Bhadravathi lashed nearly for 40 minutes. Similarly, heavy rain lashed Thirthahalli in the evening. Water level in Linganamakki dam rose to 1773.4 feet against the maximum level of 1819 feet. The inflow of water was 15, 568 cusecs. <br /><br />The Harangi reservoir in Kodagu filled to the brim on Saturday and the dam authorities released 1,200 cusecs of water into the river by opening all the four crest gates. With Madikeri, Somwarpet and Madapura receiving good rainfall, the inflow of water to the reservoir had increased. The maximum height of the reservoir is 2,859 feet and the water had reached 2856.53 feet by 1 pm. <br /><br /></p>
