Youth slips off moving train, dies

A 26-year-old youth slipped and died while trying to alight from a moving train near Kengeri railway station on Friday afternoon.

Rafiq Khan, who was returning to the City from Ajmer, wanted to get down at Kengeri railway station as it was close to his house. He jumped off the moving train, lost balance and fell on the ground, suffering serious injuries. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was declared brought dead. He was working at a welding shop and was residing near Kengeri Satellite bus stand.
