Pooja to walk the ramp

MS

When there is a fashion week in the City, how can Sandalwood stars be left behind? Amongst them is namma Pooja Gandhi, who will be walking the ramp on Saturday for the first time.

Fashionista: Pooja GandhiExcited and nervous at the same time, she says, “Walking the ramp is so different from facing the camera. Both are equally challenging and I hope it goes well.”

Being glamourous is part of her life and we have seen her fashion side on screen.
But ask her about her off-screen fashion statement and she says, “It’s all about comfort for me. I love wearing jeans and a nice t-shirt. And since I’m facing the camera, I have to wear loads of make-up. Off-screen, I like going as minimal as I can,” she says.

For the ramp, Pooja will be wearing a light blue sari with sequence work created by Ramesh Dembla.

She says she hasn’t done much of rehearsals due to her tight schedule. So, nervousness is bound to be there.

“I am a bit nervous as this is the first time I’m doing this. But I guess at the end of the day, it’s all about having fun and sharing stage with friends,” she adds.
