Senior govt officer's tea poisoned

 
The senior officer fell ill after taking the ‘poisoned tea’ and had to be rushed to hospital.
Sources said V B Singh, a director in the Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs, complained of nausea and giddiness after sipping tea served by a subordinate in the office on Thursday.

Singh said he had checked the tea cup and found some tablets in it. He alleged that the woman poisoned the tea to avenge the disciplinary actions he had initiated against her.
Delhi police are investigating.
