Aspiring Nepalese model rescued from prostitution

A 23-year-old woman from Nepal, an upcoming model who was forced into prostitution, was rescued by the Central Crime Branch (CCB) sleuths from a well-known hotel in the City.

 She was into modelling and aspired to make it big in the industry, but was pushed into flesh trade.

According to the police, an agent Anwar Khan alias Sagar, 27, and a customer Sudhanwa, 28, a land developer and building contractor were arrested from the hotel.

The victim was handed over to an NGO and a case has been registered at the High Grounds police station.

The police said that the woman got in touch with a person in Mumbai, who offered her opportunities in modelling. Around eight months ago, she landed in Mumbai and contacted the said person. He took her to a lodge where she was forced to have sex with him.

The act was recorded and he even clicked nude pictures of her. He started threatening her that he would upload the video and pictures on the Internet if she failed to get into prostitution. Left with no choice, the girl got into he flesh trade, added the police.

Meanwhile, a couple of persons from the City booked for a girl on Bangalore Escort Service.com, an online website which supplies girls for escort services. A pimp from the City contacted another agent in Mumbai and asked him to send a girl.

“On August 22, 2015, the girl landed in the City and she was put up at the hotel in the Central Business District area. Several customers visited her. The agent would collect Rs 50,000 per hour to Rs one lakh for a night.

The pimp Anwar Khan would collect money from the customers and deposit it in various bank accounts. Another pimp from KR Puram used to get customers,” said a senior police officer.He said that a couple of days ago, Sudhanwa visited her and forced her to have unnatural sex with him, which she declined. He beat her up and the girl raised an alarm following which Sudhanwa fled the spot.The CCB sleuths, who had got the information raided the place and rescued the victim. Based on the information provided by her, police arrested Sudhanwa.

They are looking for Raja alias Venkatesh from KR Puram and Rakesh, Kapoor, Bunty and Anisha, from Mumbai, who are also involved in the racket, police said.
