JOIN USIt was a day of excitement as 47 teams from 22 schools in Bengaluru, Davangere and Hosur took part in ‘Qwiz 2015’, the 12th edition of the ‘Inter-School Teachers’ Quiz’ organised by National Hill View Public School, Rajarajeshwari Nagar.
Principal Rama Ranganathan requested the guest of honour Gururaj Kharjagi, Chairman, Academy of Creative Teaching, to unveil a portrait of Dr Abdul Kalam sketched by the art teacher, which was the special gift given to the staff room of the winning school of ‘Qwiz 2015’.
After the solemn moment, as the quiz master Giri ‘Pickbrain’ Balasubramaniam took on the stage, the crowd burst into a rapturous welcome.
The preliminary round saw six teams qualifying to take part in the finals. A nutritious wellness lunch followed the exciting activities where teachers were seen in a reversal of roles.
The excitement was palpable as Giri ‘Pickbrain’ came on stage and announced the six qualifying teams.
After a gruelling round of tiebreaker , PSBB Learning Leadership Academy
represented by AnuradhaKannan and Anupama Sreemala emerged winners of ‘Qwiz 2015’ followed closely by Army Public School in the second position represented by Kanny Prabhakar and Alka J Sadan and Sishu Griha High School in the third place represented by Geeta Vishwanathan and Madhulika Chandrakumar.
