NPCI to launch ePayments literacy

National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), the umbrella organisation for all retail payment systems in the country, on Monday, announced a first-of-its-kind  ‘ePayments Literacy Workshop’ pan India on the occasion of World Literacy Day.

A nationwide literacy workshop will be hosted by NPCI across all 56 Regional Rural Banks at 120 centres. More than 24,000 participants will join the initiative. 

Participants will be familiarised with customs of ATMs and its numerous features like cash withdrawal, balance unquiry, among others. Consumer redressal advices and other precautionary tips on PIN change and fund transfer will be demonstrated. Security tips like mobile number registration, seeding Aadhaar with bank will also be presented.
