Capt C P Krishnan Nair, a legend of the hotel industry and Founder Chairman of The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts passed away at the age of 92 following a brief illness.
A press released issued by the hotel group said that the last rites shall be performed on Sunday at 3 pm at Pawan Hans crematorium in Juhu, Mumbai. A freedom fighter in his youth, Capt Nair served as an officer in the Indian army.
