The right platform for young minds

MS Ramaiah College of Arts, Science and Commerce in association with The Indian Science Congress Association – Bangalore Chapter, Indian Society of Life Sciences organised a three-day national conference on ‘Science and technology for indigenous development in India’.

While science and technology can help translate these ideas into creating jobs in India, making or manufacturing of any product or service is not possible unless one knows the science behind it.

To deliberate on this issue and create awareness among academicians, researchers, academicians, professionals, students, stakeholders, including local ministers, businesses and civil society groups, the event was organised.

The National Conference aimed at understanding the indigenous invention and innovation that can bring inclusive sustained progress of India.

It was inaugurated by Dr Ashok Kumar Saxena, General President, Indian Science Congress (ISCA), Kolkata. A souvenir was released by Dr Vijaylakshmi Saxena, Executive committee Members ISCA, Kanpur.

The organisers received 102 research papers including posters from research scholars, students and academicians across the country.  SM Acharya, CEO, Gokula Education Foundation, presided over the function.
