Reinforcing its commitment to the Indian market with dealerships in Mumbai, Delhi and Gurgaon, Italian motorcycle legend Ducati has opened its doors in Bengaluru, the first company dealership in South India.

VST, one of South India’s leading private automobile business groups, has established the world-class Ducati dealership at UB City, Bengaluru.

Ravi Avalur, Managing Director of Ducati India, highlighted Bengaluru as a strategic part of Ducati’s plans in India, saying, “We consider Bengaluru to be fundamentally important to our growth in India and are proud to announce that our partnership with VST enables us to take another positive step forward.”

The Bengaluru showroom will offer the entire Ducati range available in India, including the Italian manufacturer’s iconic Monster 821, Hypermotard and Hyperstrada, the provocative Diavel family and the company’s innovative and high-performance Superbike models: 1299, 1299 S, and the flagship Panigale R.

Ducati India has started taking orders for the newly arrived Scrambler Urban Enduro. The stylish model provides a fun and easy way to deal with the urban challenge, as well as to explore less-travelled roads. The Scrambler Urban Enduro is now available at the Bengaluru showroom from Rs 7,90,000 (ex-showroom Bengaluru).

Introducing their touring range into India, Ducati has also now started deliveries of the ground-breaking Multistrada 1200 and 1200S. The highly-awarded model was presented as being 4-bikesin-1, when it was first released, due to its four riding modes which adapted the high-tech motorcycle to Sport, Touring, Urban or Enduro environments at the press of a button.

Now equipped with the Ducati Testastretta DVT engine, the Multistrada combines latest technologies to take the lead in the sport-touring sector. The Multistrada is available at the new showroom from Rs 14,60,000 (ex-showroom Bengaluru). Ducati’s opening of the Bengaluru dealership underlines the company’s plans to expand the Ducati India network, continuing in other major metros throughout 2016.
