<p>A 27-year-old man died after he crashed his bike into the parapet of a flyover near Tin factory under the KR Puram traffic police station limits in the early hours of Sunday.<br /><br /></p>.<p>According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Venkat Raju, a resident of Vijinapura. <br /><br />He was the eldest son of a retired bank manager and had completed his postgraduation.<br />Passersby told the police that Venkat Raju was overspeeding and hit the side-wall of the flyover.<br /><br />Severe injuries <br />He was thrown up in the air and fell off the flyover while going towards Hebbal around 1.15 am. He crashed on the ground from a height of around 25 feet and suffered severe head injuries. <br /><br />Passersby shifted him to a hospital where he was declared brought dead. <br /><br />Police visited the spot and are yet to ascertain if Venkat Raju was wearing helmet and had consumed liquor at the time of the accident.<br /><br />A case has been registered at the K R Puram traffic police station.<br /> </p>
