Three people were arrested on the charges of murdering an IBM employee in Kengeri recently.

The suspects are Robin, 33, a resident of Benson Town; Rajan, 32, of Tannery Road; and Raju, 26 from Srirampuram. Robin is a flower decorator by profession, Rajan, an interior decorator, and Raju, a decoration assistant. The trio had murdered Abhishek T, 29, a resident of Pantharapalya level crossing in Kengeri, over a domestic dispute, said the police.

Robin fell in love with Abhishekh’s sister Ashwini four years ago and married her. There was a dispute between Robin and Abhishekh over some issue and the two had fought a year ago. Robin nursed a grudge against Abhishekh as the latter had assaulted Ashwini a month ago, said the police.

Robin plotted Abhishek’s murder to settle scores with him and usurped the properties owned by Abhishekh’s mother. He connived with two others and decided to murder him on March 31, said the police.

Abhishekh, an IBM employee, returned home after night shift in the wee hours of March 31. The suspects attacked him from behind when he was parking his two-wheeler near his house. He collapsed and died due to massive injuries.

Based on a complaint, the police registered a case and arrested the suspects.
