Shake it up!

With this summer heat scorching us, we’ve all reached our saturation point as far as our food and drink intake is concerned. Fortunately, there’s a small place on Brigade Road called ‘The ThickShake Factory’ that has generously contributed to satisfying the needs of those who want to eat and drink cold items this hot season.

But the ‘cool’ quotient here comes at a price. They serve only shakes. But they are quite heavy and filling and one would probably not be able to finish even one. However, they are the perfect solution to what one is looking for.

Located on the top floor of ‘Waffle Stories’, one has to get into the store and then get to this factory. The small space isn’t what one would call ‘ideal’ to sit down and enjoy their drinks. It’s quite cramped with barely any space for one to move around. But once you’ve conquered the path and are seated, the next step is a smooth ride. After the wait of placing the order is taken care of, the talented shake master goes backdoors to create the refreshing shakes. They are then placed on the conveyor belts which are basically one’s table. Wait for the belt to deliver your drinks and enjoy!

Some of their interesting mixes include the ‘Mexican Vanilla’, ‘Pink Penn’, ‘Very Berry’ and ‘Spanish Orange’. Since it’s the mango season, try the ‘Mango Melody’ as well! They also have coffee delight shakes such as ‘Caramel Koffee’, ‘Oreo Koffee’, ‘Brownie Koffee’ and more. For those who favour tea, they can choose from ‘Green Apple’, ‘Raspberry’ or ‘Peach’ options.

And if one does not want to have that heavy a drink, the ‘Mojito Mint’, ‘Tropical Freshener’ and ‘Blue Angel’ are recommended. They also offer fruit flavoured shakes like ‘Lovely Litchi’, ‘Fuzzy Kiwiberry’ and ‘Strawbanana’.

But usually, when one mentions shakes, it’s the chocolate combination that one looks forward too. Well, they have plenty of options in that as well! The ‘Belgian Chocolate’, ‘Choco Karamel’, ‘Triple Choco Chip’ and ‘Choco Brownie Crumble’ are some of the popular choices. ‘The ThickShake Factory’ is located on the Upper ground floor, 25, Brigade Road.
