‘Raajneeti’ to hit screens on June 4
Striking Similarities
Director Prakash Jha's much anticipated political saga Raajneeti starring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif is all set for a June 4 release. The film also boasts of a glittering starcast in Naseeruddin Shah, Nana Patekar, Ajay Devgn, Arjun Rampal, Manoj Bajpai along with newcomer Sarah.
The music of the film has been composed by the Wayne Sharpe and the screenplay is by Prakash Jha and Anjum Rajabali. “Raajneeti is a high drama film with politics as the background... and who is more adept and accomplished than Prakash Jha to pull off a film based on politics. We believe we have a powerful script and the most exciting cast ensemble of today,” the producers of the film, said.
The film has generated a lot of interest following Katrina's look as a politician which is said to be inspired by Congress president Sonia Gandhi. The multi-starrer has been extensively shot in Bhopal.
