For die hard fans of popular sitcom How I Met Your Mother (HIMYM), The Beer cafe is the Indian version of the Mac Lauren’s pub in Manhattan, where Ted Mosby, and his group of friends regularly meet. The ambience and the notion of HIMYM just adds to the feel after a few beer pint bottles and bar bites on the side.

The cafe is not new for beer lovers, it’s a hit hangout place. New introductions and additions to the menu, offers on beer and fests are some of its regular features.

However, their recent introduction, which is ‘cutting beer’ is a step ahead to explore your love for beer. A smaller serving of the quintessential beer mug, cutting beer is a quick grab if you’re in a hurry or need a midday refuel without getting drunk.

As colloquial as it sounds, cutting beer is served in simple stands in which cutting chai is served at tea stalls. Starting at a price as low as Rs 39 for Fosters and Kingfisher, other brands like Oranjeboom, Bira and Heverlee Witte are served at Rs 79; and speciality brews such as Hoegaarden, Stella, Erdinger, Paulaners, Fullers and Flensburger amongst others, are served at Rs 129. Happy hours do not need specific timings anymore.

It makes the experience of beer as exciting as possible. Having cutting beer is like having beer shots. And just one shot of Bira white, which Metrolife tried, is not going to be enough.

You can pair your cutting beer with Chicken Wings or Beer Batter Fish and Chips. To make the new drinking experiment last longer.

Chicken Supreme Pizza is also a good pick. Thin crust, lots of cheese and blend of green and red chilli. Chicken Supreme Pizza, also works wonders for hunger pangs post beer.

Pocket-friendly, convenient and innovative, cutting beer is for those who fear beer belly.
