A man and a woman were killed on the spot after they came under a running train in Hebbal on Monday evening. Identity the victims is yet to be ascertained.
According to the police, the incident occurred around 7 pm. The victims, who are aged between 45 and 50 years, went near the track and slept there. They were run over by a train and the incident came to light after some time.
The Baiyappanahalli Railway Police rushed to the spot after being alerted and shifted the bodies for post mortem. It is not known whether the two committed suicide or accidentally came under the running train, the police said.
