<p>A constable scared sent police personnel into a tizzy after he left a note at Jayanagar police station on Tuesday evening claiming that he would commit suicide after he was asked to go on deputation.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The police said Srinivasa H, a native of Kanakapura in Ramanagar district and a constable attached to the station, left the note in the station and went to his native place. The other staff saw the letter and fretted about him committing suicide until they traced him. He was counselled and was asked not to take any drastic step. <br /><br />A senior police officer said, “Srinivas was asked to go to Siddapura police station on deputation, as they did not have a trained driver for the new Ertiga patrolling vehicle, till they get a new driver. We also told him that the deputation is only for a week and he would get back to Jayanagar police station. Srinivas told the inspector that he would not go on deputation. Later in the evening, the constable wrote a note that he would commit suicide and then went to his hometown.” <br /><br />“Currently, he is on leave and will get back to duty in a couple of days. For now, there is no complaint against him,” added the officer.<br /></p>
