Poor show in II PU repeat examination

The results of the second pre-university supplementary examination this year have recorded the lowest pass percentage in the last six years.

Of the 2,18,357 students who appeared for the examination,  45,574 have passed. The pass percentage has come down to 18.31 from previous year’s 26.93 in the case of boys. Similarly, the pass percentage of girls has declined to 24.66 from 34.67.

Commerce students top
Among the combinations, the pass percentage is the highest in commerce (22) while that in science is 21.81 and arts 19.49.

Udupi district has recorded the highest pass percentage of 31.81 and lowest is reported from Gadag at 15.89.
