Chaos reigns supreme

Based on the stylish DC Comics superhero adventure, Suicide Squad brings together a group of bad people who are sent on a deadly mission to save mankind!

The team is led by tough nut cookie intel officer Amanda (Viola Davis) who heads a secret force which employs jailed meta-humans and criminals with to fight the baddies in return for reduced sentences. Amanda now recruits assassin Deadshot (Smith) and others against witch Enchantress (Delevingne) who has developed a weapon of mass destruction.

Being an anti-hero film, Suicide Squad, despite the talented cast and performances, fails to connect with the audience. It struggles to bring some emotional elements in a father’s undying love for his daughter and in a tragic story of one of the characters. Even then, there is a feeling of ‘who cares’ when these characters die or live.

In addition, the plot is made to look as twisted as it can be without attention to details. Except for a couple of characters, none shines. If you like chaos and tough action, join the squad.
