RCom Q4 net slips 8.73% to Rs 303 cr

Reliance Communications (RCom) on Friday reported a net profit of Rs 303 crore for its fourth quarter ended March 31, 2013 as compared with Rs 332 crore in the same quarter a year ago,  showing a fall of 8.73 per cent.

During the quarter under review, Anil Ambani group's flagship company's revenue stood at Rs 5,956 crore, up 12.16 per cent from Rs 5,310 crore in Q4FY12.

For the full year ended March 31, 2013, the group has posted a net profit of Rs 672 crore versus Rs 928 crore in FY12. During this period, RCom's total income increased from Rs 20,382 crore to Rs 21,778 crore. The company's board at its meeting this day recommended a dividend of 0.25 paise per equity share. The company's press release said revenue per minute (RPM) stood at a 44 paise.

Meanwhile, RCom in another release issued to bourses said it has made full payment of a loan amounting to over Rs 2,700 crore that was taken from a group of international banks.
