A gleeful thriller

David (Teller) is a disgruntled American massage therapist overburdened with the news of a pregnant girlfriend Iz (De Armas).

An old friend Efraim (Hill) offers him a job to sell weapons to US military overseas and soon their business takes off with themselves making deliveries in the dangerous regions of Jordan and Iraq. However, the game takes a different turn when they win a mega contract from Henry (Cooper) to deliver AK-47 bullets to Albania.

War Dogs is wild but a gleeful adventure about arms dealers. It also highlights the rot in American society in an entertaining manner. Hangover fame director Todd Phillips is judiciously good in embedding wild feelings in the old school storytelling format.

The funny characters, however, slowly become serious as the script tries to wrap up what is a serious plot. While Hill brings with him a wild and hilarious act as a shrewd arms salesman, Teller proves he is no less worth his co-star. The beautiful De Armas, sadly, is a wasted girlfriend as the guys have all the fun filled adventure.
