Yet another remake
Srinivas Prasad, who had earlier directed Prachanda Ravana, has taken up a new film titled Nanjanguda Nanjunda. Based on a mentally challenged person, the film is said to be an adaptation of a Malayalam movie called Vadakkunokki Yendram. But Srinivas says changes are made in many scenes and the story is adapted to a modern day scenario.
“We have given it a commercial angle that was absent in the original,” he says. The movie revolves around a man who marries a beautiful girl. His internal insecurity makes him doubt anyone and everyone who talks or even sees his wife. The movie will see a play of psychology and humour.
The film stars Ravishankar and Malayalam actress Hansini in the lead. Veteran director-cum-actor KSL Swami and Nagaraj Kote will be seen in important roles.
The film is currently in the editing stage and in the coming weeks will go into dubbing.
