Rain in Kodagu, Uttara Kannada dists

Kodagu district received an average of 6.65 mm rainfall in the last 24 hours.
Madikeri taluk received the highest of 12.5 mm rainfall followed by Somwarpet taluk — 3.88 mm and Virajpet taluk — 3.57 mm.
Dakshina Kannada district did not receive rainfall. Meanwhile, some taluks in Uttara Kannada district, including Karwar and Honnavar, received good rain on Wednesday. Yallapur received rain for sometime in the aftertoon.
The water level at Supa reservoir stood at 544.76 metres as against the maximumn level of 564 metres. The inflow of water was 1,681 cusecs. Moderate rain lashed some parts of Shivamogga district on Wednesday.
Shivamogga, Bhadravathi, Hosanagar and Thirthahalli received rain in the morning for a while. Water level in Linganamakki dam rose to 1,794.30 foot against the maximum level of 1,819 feet.
