Photobook on architectural marvels of Belur, Halebid

 Pundalik Kalliganur has come out with a photobook - “Belur Halebid Shilpakala Samrajya.” 

The photobook captures the architectural marvels of Belur and Halebid, the popular tourist destinations of Karnataka. The book will be unveiled at the Karnataka Chitrakala Parishat on September 18. 

Speaking to DH, Kalliganur, a professional illustration artist, said: “I started working on the book four years ago with an objective of portraying the beautiful sculptures at Belur and Halebid. The book includes pictures of total 2,000 sculptures, a few of which have been captured during the monsoon.”

Kaliganur has captured a total of 5,000 pictures from both the places. Among them, only a select 2,000 have been published. The photobook has been brought out by the Bharata Yatra Kendra and Kikkeri Publications.
