PU student dies in accident
Siddharth Rao, a II PU student from a city college, died on the spot when he lost control of his two-wheeler and rammed into a compound wall on Mathikere Main Road on Monday late night, Yeshwanthpur Traffic police said.
Rao (17), a student of Vidya Mandir College, Malleswaram took his father’s two-wheeler for a spin when he met with the accident.
Some passerby shifted him to the hospital, but the injuries were too serious for him to survive.
Engg student robbed
An engineering student was robbed of his laptop and a cellphone worth Rs 40,000 at Srinivaspura in Rajarajeshwarinagar on Monday afternoon.
The incident occurred when Sunny Sinha, a student of Global Engineering College and a resident of Halagevadarahalli was returning home on his bike. Two men on a bike robbed him and fled, according to pollice.
