The country’s rural landscape is known for its craftsmen and their native skills. Each region is famous for something or the other but urbanites often find it difficult to source the trasures made by the artisans.

The ‘Indian Handloom and Handicraft  Exhibition’ of textiles and artefacts that is being held at Sharada Kalyana Mantap, Dr Rajkumar Road, Rajajinagar, and at Safina Plaza, Infantry Road will be a treat for Bengalureans who love such products and textiles.

Craftsmen from different regions will display their contemporary and exquisite collection which include stone, silver and antique products. More than 60 stalls will have a variety of  items that include ‘Madhubani’, ‘patur’, ‘zari’ linen, ‘patola’, ‘ajrak’ and ‘akola’ prints among others.
