JOIN USCombining a variety of crafts, food and fun all under one roof, Bistro Claytopia is organising the ‘Claytopia Craft Carnival’ on October 2 in its premises in Koramangala.
Started by partners Kavitha Menon Nambiar, Amina Mohammad Ali and Fathima Rizwan, the idea behind the carnival is to support several other women and enable them to succeed in their creative entrepreneurial ventures.
“The carnival has received a good response so far and we would like to continue it. We promote these women online and offline as well. We curate and choose serious entrepreneurs who create their own products and display their wares. It’s a fun event with some good music by young musicians, activities for kids, food and much more in an open-air environment,” says Kavitha.
The ‘Paint your own pottery’ studio at the bistro is an added attraction for children as well as adults, where they can use their creativity to paint on the bisque ware provided, that is later glazed and fired and can be taken home as beautiful ceramic ware.
There will be stalls showcasing artisanal chocolates, handmade jewellery, planters, custom made stationery and many other interesting items.
There’s a mix of creative works this time like terrariums by Babitha, paper craft by Tanvi, an upcycled products stall by Rashmi and EFGH organic masalas by Gayatri.
Additionally, one can enjoy a variety of burgers, pastas and shakes while taking a look at some of the wares. The carnival will be open from 12 pm to 6 pm.
