<p>Lenovo India on Monday unveiled new range of consumer laptops in the country with an eye on the festive season and to further focus on after sales strategy. <br /><br /></p>.<p>The newly launched models include ideapad 510s, ideapad 710s, ideapad Y700, ideapad 310, ideapad 510, Miix 310 and Yoga 510. <br /><br />Commenting on the launch, Lenovo India Head – Consumer Marketing and Digital Amit Doshi said Lenovo believes in listening to its consumers to create products that address evolving consumer tastes, and at times also leading them to new form factors. <br /><br />“Today’s collection has products that were recently launched globally and offer a wide range of form factors and category-first features. We want to retain our edge with new features and servicing options for India,” said Doshi.<br /><br />The company also announced its first-of-its-kind global initiative of three years of accidental damage protection (ADP) and additional three years of warranty at no extra cost. The Rs 73,390 ideapad 710s is ideal for those who are looking at lightweight laptops that offer heavy-duty performance. The ideapad Y700 is a desktop-class gaming laptop and it is priced at Rs 1,28,090. The highlight of the device is the hard-bundled gaming kit worth Rs 19,496 which gamers can buy at Rs 2,999, and includes an armoured back-pack, mechanical mouse, gaming mouse and a special headset.<br /><br />Besides Lenovo Exclusive stores and outlets such as Croma, Reliance Digital and Ezone, the Lenovo products can be purchased through all the leading ecommerce platforms.<br /><br />“We came to know about the customer behaviour in India that they are quite used to mishandle their gadget and decided to rollout ADP.
