However, he failed to provide documents related to the money. He told the police that he was not aware if the four clients had documents for the money.<br /><br />“The police have written to the Income Tax department. It is up to the I-T officers to question the four persons and ascertain if they have documents related to the currency notes,” said Additional Commissioner of Police (West) K S R Charan Reddy. The police said that the money was now the court’s property. The police informed the jurisdictional court about the money on Friday. <br /><br />Siddhartha has not said that he will approach the court on Monday and produce documents, Reddy said. The 40-year-old lawyer drove into the Vidhana Soudha on Friday with a huge stash of currency notes in the boot of his car. He was whisked away for questioning by the police, who seized the car and the cash. He told a press conference in the city that it had been ensured that the name of the minister in question does not become public. The former chief minister said that incidents of crime were on the rise in the state. It would not be appropriate to celebrate Tipu Jayanthi in such a <br />situation, he said. </p>
