Agni awards announced

The Agni Award for Excellence in Self Reliance 2008, instituted by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has been awarded to Dr G Athithan from the Centre for Artificial Intellgence and Robotics (CAIR) and his team.
The team had designed and developed the high performance network traffic analysis technology NETRA, according to a press release.
Kharge’s son in the list
The team had two young scientists from the Indian Institute of Science, Dr G Ravindra and Dr Rahul M Kharge, who is the first son of the Union Minister for Labour and Employment, Mallikarjuna Kharge.
