Nataraja Service
Kannada (U) Cast: Sharan, Mayuri,
Ravishankar
Director: Pavan Wadeyar

Lock your sense away at home and fasten your seat belt to enjoy this Sharan brand of comedy sans logic. Nataraja Service will make your day with its two-hour entertainment, worth your wallet.

And even as you laugh at the antics, Pavan Wadeyar ensures that he pushes in a subtle, pithy message as well. Whether audiences understand the same is a moot point.

Nataraja — a petty thief with a big heart — and the pint-sized, ill-omened Sahana form the unusual pair in Nataraja Service. While the thief dreams of being locked up for a longer period to savour the sambar-rice served there, the luckless girl wards off besotted beaus, saying they are courting misfortune.

The film shows how the hero saves the girl from a beau, whose family is after her as he is in coma after having expressed his love for her. How the two flip for one another while on the run — she, from a murderous mob, and he from police after having unwittingly involved in a bank heist — forms the rest of Nataraja Service.

The infectious Allah Allah song draws you straightaway into Nataraja Service.
Sharan is gloriously in his element. A diminutive Mayuri tries to stand tall to match him.

This Nataraja ensures you have a whale of a time, dancing to his tomfoolery.
