The Mount Carmel College campus is all set to come alive with ‘Cul-aH’ being held in December 1 to 3. A 37-member student team has been working hard for the last two months to put together this event that every college student in the city looks forward to.

This year, ‘Cul-aH’ will play host to 79 events and promises to have events that will interest everybody.

So, be it the mainstream dance and music or literary events, chocolate eating, print making or circuit analysis, the fest has it all.

This year, the theme is ‘The Chocolate Factory’. The campus has been decked with life-sized candies, donuts, a ginger bread house, gigantic lollipops and fluffy cotton candy.

The fest will have a slew of events with Kannada and French rappers taking centre stage to add that extra zing to the event.

There will also be bike stunt shows. The performances include a concert by international artiste Christina Novelli, a Grammy Award Nominee on December 2. Varun Thakur will perform on December 1 and the fest will conclude with a concert by the band ‘Best Kept Secret’. They will be performing with DJ Hussain.

The members of the student union have been working very hard to get the fest underway. Nydile R, the president of the Union says “Cul-aH is not just a fest, it’s an experience.”

Mallika B, the cultural secretary, pitches in, “This is the queen of all fests and is put together by an all-girls squad. What can be better than that? ” Others like Namitha MS, another member of the student union, talk about how “one will get to see how one’s imagination comes to life.”
