Jigsaw Academy, an online school of analytics headquartered in Bengaluru, and growing at 200%, is targeting to touch Rs 50 crore in the next two years.

The academy that raised Rs 20 crore Series II funding from Manipal Global Education Services (MaGE), has trained over 40,000 students across 35 countries in the most widely used industry-relevant data analytics tools and techniques.

Speaking to DH, Gaurav Vohra, CEO and co-founder, Jigsaw Academy said, “We are offering 45 courses. Some of our popular courses amongst the students community include analytics for beginners, big data for beginners, SAS & R courses with data science. Looking at market requirements, we will be adding new courses such as supply chain in analytics, data science with Python, and MongoDB.”

In addition to the individuals, the academy has been conducting onsite training or through virtual classrooms for corporates depending on their choice. Vohra said that “over 5,000 professionals participated in such programmes from 150 corporates for over 8,000 learning hours for their analytics and big data training needs”.

Commenting on the training on analytics, Jigsaw Academy COO and co-founder Sarita Digumarti said, “We believe that the future of analytics is poised to soar, and that we will play a crucial role in identifying and nurturing talent in analytics worldwide. We also firmly believe that online learning is changing the face of education, and we are proud that Jigsaw’s virtual platform is a part of this revolution.”

The academy started in 2011, with a sole purpose to bridge the gap between the demand and supply for qualified, industry-ready professionals by training individuals as well as corporate participants with relevant backgrounds in the most widely used technologies and tools in Big Data processing and analysis.
