Deshpande woos West Bengal industrialists to Karnataka

Ahead of the ‘Make in India’ conference scheduled to be held in Bengaluru on February 13 and 14, the Karnataka government is out seeking investments from across India, including West Bengal.

R V Deshpande, Karnataka’s minister for large and medium industries, visited Kolkata and discussed investment possibilities with leading local industrialists, pitched for investments across sectors in his state.

During a meet-and-greet with around 200 top industrialists from West Bengal, he promised “the best treatment” and “best experience” for businesses in Karnataka.

Deshpande also assured the industrialists of all necessary support from his government in implementing projects across Karnataka.The conference is being hosted by Karnataka government, in association with Union government’s Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion and industry body CII.
