Batting first, Vice President’s XI could only manage 106 before being bundled out in 69 overs, with Srujan Nandan scoring 66. Rahul was the wrecker-in-chief, with figures of 5/25. He was ably backed by Rohan Sharma (3/30).
In reply, Bangalore rode on half-centuries from Suhas R (58), Aryan Joshi (62) and Rahul (58) to post 274 in 87.1 overs. Smyan Srivastava scalped six wickets (6/53) for Vice President’s XI.
