<p>Two reporters and a cameraman belonging to a TV channel were attacked by supporters of H Y Meti at his residence at Navanagar here on Wednesday.<br /><br /></p>.<p>One of the reporters was injured in the leg. The supporters then threatened and abused other journalists there. They forcibly pushed out a few of the reporters. The District Working Journalists’ Association has filed a complaint with M N Nagaraja, the Superintendent of Police.<br /><br />The police have provided security to the house of constable Subhash Mugalakhod, who is said to have filmed Meti in the act. <br /><br />The woman seen in the sex video with Meti, who had got herself admitted to a hospital on Tuesday, left the hospital at midnight and is said to have gone to an unknown place with her relatives.<br /><br />BJP holds protest<br />Meanwhile, members of the BJP held a protest against former minister Meti at Basaveshwara Circle in the city on Wednesday. Former legislators Veeranna Charanthimath and Narayansa Bhandage led the protest. Earlier, a procession was taken out to the Basaveshwara Circle. <br /><br />Addressing the agitators, Charanthimath said that Meti had brought disrepute to the district by seeking sexual favours from a woman who went to him seeking a job. <br />Police have provided security to the former minister’s home office on the premises of the city municipal council office at Navanagar, where a large number of Meti’s supporters had gathered. <br /> </p>
