Job fair at KPT today

HRD Centre of District Employment Exchange, Karnataka Vocational Training and Skill Development Corporation in association with Diya Systems Pvt Ltd will organise job fair to fill 300 vacancies of Technical Support, at Karnataka Polytechnic, Kadri Hills on March 21 between 10 am and 4 pm, said Diya Systems Chief Executive Officer Ravichandran.

Addressing a press meet, he said the candidates must have degree and knowledge of computer/final diploma—Computer Science/Electronics and Communication/Electrical and Electronics/Information Technology and Mechanical engineering along with computer knowledge.

The candidates must have fluency in English and must be between 18 and 28 years old.
District-in-Charge Minister Krishna Palemar will inaugurate the mela. MLA Yogish Bhat, MLC Capt Ganesh Karnik, MLA U T Khader, Department of Employment and Training Commissioner S R Umashankar and others will be the chief guests.

Employment Officer S D Basavaraju said after HRD centre came into existence in Mangalore, about 444 job aspirants have got employment. As many as 3,975 have registered their names. Of which, 3,519 have undergone skill tests. About 75 companies have taken the service of the HRD centre and about 77 candidates are undergoing skill training, he added.
