Haryana maintain unbeaten run

 Haryana Hammers maintained their unbeaten streak in the Pro Wrestling League 2 with 5-2 win over Delhi Sultans here on Wednesday.

Satyawart Kadian appearing in the opening bout against Haryana Hammers’ captain Abdusalam Gadisov in the men’s 97 kg found the Russian too strong for him. He lost 9-0.

Delhi, however, drew level when Mariya Stadnik walloped Haryana's Indu Chaudhary 16-0 to win in the 48 kg women's category.

 Haryana took a 2-1 lead in third bout when Haryana's Magomed Kurbanaliev in the 70 kg men category overwhelmed David Tlashadze 6-2.

 Delhi fought back to draw level 2-2 through its captain Alina Makhynia who overcame a stalemate against Kiran to win 2-1 in the 75 kg women's category.

 However, Haryana’s Rajneesh then created flutter after causing the upset of the day. He trumped Delhi’s Bajrang Punia 9-6. There was no stopping  Haryana from here.
