Actor Sonali Raut, who will be seen in the horror film ‘Paranormal’, has said that she experienced some uncanny feeling in the house in Manali where the team stayed.

“In fact I found the house in Manali, where the ‘Paranormal’ shooting team stayed, similarly haunted,” said Sonali, when asked if she had any strange
experiences during the shoot. “Loud bangs could be heard on the window (of the house) in the early morning hours,” she recalled.

Sonali will be essaying the role of Ameena in the Sanjay Sharma directorial work, stated to be based on real paranormal phenomena. The former ‘Bigg Boss’ contestant said that she is keen to gauge the audience response to ‘Paranormal’.

Talking about her ‘Bigg Boss’ experience, she said it was a self-discovery lesson for her. Sonali said she was, however, not a reality show star and “‘Bigg Boss’ just happened to me.”

“Currently I am not looking forward to television as I am concentrating on films,” said Sonali, who has been chosen as the ‘Fface’ of eastern region's first model hunt for showbiz ‘Fface’, said.

She is also part of the first Bollywood web series ‘Love Life, Screw Ups’ where
participants blow the lid on their friendships, relationships, love affairs and breakups.

“This is a unique project and I feel proud to be part of it. In fact, I watch series more than TV serials,” she said. “I am also doing a Marathi film ‘Hero’ which is  a peek into the Bollywood industry,” she said. The model said she hardly came across Mumbai girls in the modelling circuit and “I find more models from rest of the country”.

About shoots with models from the East, she said it was important for aspiring models from the region to get in touch with the right agencies to make it big.
