JOIN US Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering (DSCE), Bengaluru, has topped the college-wise rank list of all undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at VTU with its students securing 46 ranks.
Bangalore Institute of Technology (BIT) is second with 24 ranks; RV College of Engineering, Bengaluru, third with 22 ranks; MVJ College of Engineering, Bengaluru, fourth with 21 ranks; Acharya Institute of Technology, Bengaluru, fifth with 20 ranks; BMS College of Engineering, Bengaluru, and Gogte Institute of Technology, Belagavi, joint sixth with 15 ranks; Oxford College of Engineering, Bengaluru, and Department of PG Studies, VTU, joint seventh with 14 ranks, and Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology, Davangere, and PESIT, Bengaluru, joint eighth with 11 ranks.
The DSCE topped the BE/Btech rank list, too, with 32 ranks, followed by the BIT with 17 ranks and Acharya Institute of Technology 14 ranks.
Overall, students from 74 colleges have secured 422 ranks; of them 208 are from BE, 10 BArch, 10 MBA, 10 MCA, 178 MTech and 6 MArch. The pass percentage in BE/BTech stood at 76.69%, BArch 91.50%, MBA 71.68%, MCA 91.96%, and MArch, MTech and MTech (part-time) 100% each.
