The workers led by BJP District President Pranesh, CMC President Thammaiah, leaders Varasiddi Venu Gopal, Rajappa, Ranganath, Belavadi Ravindra and Jagadeep, took out the march on IG Road raising slogans against the Union government.<br /><br />Later, staging a protest in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s office, they alleged that the skyrocketing of the prices is due to the faulty policies of the Congress-led UPA government.<br /><br />The protesters urged that urgent steps should be taken to arrest the price hike. A memorandum was sent to the government through the Deputy Commissioner.</p>
