Bengaluru, dhns: JD(S) general secretary Danish Ali said his party would give a major jolt to the Congress and the BJP in the next Assembly elections in Karnataka.

Addressing the media in Bengaluru on Monday, Ali said the BJP regime under Yeddyurappa was the most corrupt in the country.

People of Karnataka would teach the two national parties a lesson while the JD(S), under the leadership of H D Kumaraswamy, would come to power, he said.

Ali said Modi has defended the scrapping of high denomination notes. But so far, there is no clarity on the seizure of black money and where the money has been deposited, he said.

The JD(S) leader said party president H D Deve Gowda ought to have been provided with Z Plus security. Instead, just two aged police constables have been posted as security personnel, he said. The security vehicle too is old, Kumaraswamy said, and added that the Centre and state should look into this.
