JOIN US Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will leave for a five-day official visit to the UK on Friday. During the visit, the finance minister will hold business interaction with the UK-India Business Council (UKIBC), and is expected to meet a host of top CEOs seeking investments in India.
On Saturday, the finance minister will deliver a talk at London School of Economics on ‘Transforming India: Vision for the Next Decade’.
On Sunday, he will attend a reception being organised by Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), British Council and Indian High Commission at UK.
On Monday, Jaitley will attend market opening ceremony at London Stock Exchange followed by a roundtable meeting with prospective issuers and leading investors, among others.
