Mahadayi case hearing resumes

Mahadayi Water Dispute Tribunal, headed by Justice J M Panchal, on Tuesday resumed its hearing.

Karnataka cross examined the Goa government officials on availability of water in Mahadayi river. 

Mohan Katarki, advocate representing Karnataka, questioned the Goa government water resources officials whether they have studied the detailed project report prepared by Karnataka government about Mahadayi project.

The cross examination would continue on Wednesday. Karnataka would pose questions to the Goa government about its affidavit before the tribunal where it said the water availability is less than what Karnataka has projected.
