The state-level Executive Committee for Malaria Elimination has been vested with additional powers to take decisions related to administrative, human resource, technical, strategic, logistic issues in the interest of malaria elimination.
The committee met on Tuesday in this regard. The health department has directed it to fill the posts of junior health assistant (male) and lab technologists on priority basis.
Also, no objection certificate (NOC) by the department of health is mandatory for registration and renewal of mining, project, road construction and building construction activities or any projects which attract labour and create mosquitogenic condition.
