A 28-year-old private company employee was killed in a road accident near ITI Colony in KR Puram on Monday night.
The deceased is Prem Dutt, a resident of Murgeshpalya. Around 11.30 pm, Dutt, was riding his two-wheeler when he lost balance and hit the pavement.
He sustained serious head injuries and passersby shifted him to a private hospital where he was declared brought dead. Police are investigating if he was riding under the influence of alcohol.
It is not known if Dutt was returning home after work or was going to his friend’s house, said the police.
A case has been registered at the KR Puram traffic police station.
