Software product company Tally Solutions on Wednesday said the company has crossed the user base of over one million businesses in the country, and is looking at tapping the growing opportunity once GST is rolled out.

In an interaction with DH, Tally solutions Executive Director Tejas Goenka said the company is growing exponentially in its business acquisition game plan. “In this financial year, we have already welcomed more than one lakh new businesses into the Tally family,” he said.

Goenka also pointed out that this addition helped the company achieve close to 20% growth over the last financial year.

“The good growth registered over this financial year will continue and the government’s decision to go ahead with the GST rollout will further our prospects,” he said.

Tally is the one among the 34 companies qualified as a GST Suvidha Provider (GSP) by the GSTN Network, which is building the technological infrastructure for the implementation of GST. GSPs will offer support and services to help taxpayers and businesses in compliance.

“Through GSTN connected applications, we can deliver connected services. GSTN is more user-friendly and we can leapfrog in our business with GSTN application and connected environment. Our business team can work easier and faster on this,” he said.

As part of its initiative to educate about GSTN, the company recently collaborated with the Confederation of All India Traders. Tally also launched a blog to help with the provision of the most updated information on GST and its allied impact on verticals through vernacular languages too.
