Techie's death: Wife denies role

The wife of a techie who committed suicide in Seattle last week has said she has got nothing to do with his death as suspected by his relatives. Gudur Swathi, wife of Gudur Madhukar Reddy, told reporters on Wednesday that he was anxious over extension of his H1B Visa and his failing memory.

Madhukar committed suicide on April 4 at his Seattle home and his relatives beat up Swathi at his funeral on Tuesday blaming her for his death.

“He was having extreme mood swings,” Swathi, also an IT professional based in Seattle, told reporters at her parent’s home in Maddelagudem in the Nalgonda district of Telangana.
