The SSLC examinations conducted by the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) concluded on Wednesday with the Social Science paper.

One student in Shivamogga was debarred for malpractice on Wednesday.  About 8.77 lakh students across the state wrote the examinations which began on March 30. In total, 14 students were debarred.

“This year, the number of students debarred has come down drastically. This is because of all the extra measures taken and the invigilation squads being more serious,” said Yashoda Bopanna, director, KSEEB. The model answers and scheme of evaluation have been uploaded on

the website of KSEEB (www.kseeb.kar.nic.in). Students can submit any objections they have to the same, by 6 pm on April 14.

The evaluation is set to begin on April 20 in 225 centres across Karnataka. As many 68,567 evaluators have been assigned for the task.

“This year, since the answer booklet and question paper are separate, evaluators may need some time in the beginning to get used to it. We are not yet sure how many days it will take for the evaluation to complete,” Yashoda said.
