The controversy surrounding the release of ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’ has been resolved and has given way to unprecedented curiosity among the fans. The film is set for a worldwide release on April 28.

Those waiting to catch all the action on the release day say that they can’t wait for the ticket counters and online bookings to open and grab their tickets. The teasers and the trademark posters of ‘Baahubali 2...’ have only raked up their thirst for the real stuff that the movie promises to showcase.

Everything about the film excites fans — the visuals, the sound effects, the graphics and the storyline. Charita Cariappa, a film buff, says that the question she just can’t get off her mind is ‘Why did Kattappa kill Baahubali?’ “I am going to watch the film only to get an answer to this question. I am also eager to see as to what extent the makers have gone to, to present the final product in the most attractive form,” says Charita.

She also likes the work and style of Rana Daggubati. “It will be interesting to watch an ageing Rana Daggubati. The transformation and the way he brings out the essence of the character is a real treat to watch,” adds Charita.

The name ‘Baahubali’ itself triggers much excitement and hype, feels Shreyas Chinga. “I am looking forward to the climax of the film because I’ve heard that it has been made on a budget of over Rs 30 crore which is twice of what was spent on its prequel. There was also more of Shiva than Amarendra Baahubali in the first part, so in this part I hope there’s going to be more focus on Amarendra Baahubali,” says Shreyas.

The characterisation and visual effects of ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ have remained in people’s minds and they are looking forward to watching another visual extravaganza one again. Pramod Ramineni, a businessman, says,  that he can’t wait to see how the plot unfolds. “I liked actor Ramya Krishnan’s character because it portrays the strength and power of a woman. She has understood and enacted her part very well,” says Pramod.

Anticipating a last minute rush, Kedarnath Rachapalli, a businessman, says that he has already made arrangements to get the tickets booked in advance. He says  “Actors Ramya Krishnan and Prabhas have slipped into their respective characters well. The gripping narration and visual extravaganza is also something to watch out for.”
